DHV-Youth XC-Camp during the 2009 Piedrahita XC-Open
The DHV-Youth group of young pilots from Germany with their coach
Christian Endner made the decision to have their XC-Camp during the
2009 Piedrahita XC-Open.
To come to the point: This certainly was the best decision ever made for a XC-Camp of the DHV-Youth.
Everybody was first of all trying to have a lot of fun, but moreover we also wanted to clock-up some km's with our gliders.
And this did work exceptionally well for us: On 7 out of 8 days good
XC-flying conditions. On the first day the altitude record of our group
4086 m! Do I have to say anything more but this?
We had excellent competition results by pilots from our group as well.

Dominic Schärtl on his Nova Mentor for placing 1st in Sports Class and 1st in Fun Class
Christoph Bessei, our youngster with only 17 years, for placing 2nd in
Fun Class on his Nova Primax in the unique combination with a GIN Genie
Race harness ;-)
As in the past year I did a short video of 06:23min as a memory to this week of real fine XC-flying.
I hope to make your mouth watery for some perfect XC-flying and to come
and join us (again) for the XC-Open in Piedrahita in 2010 :-)
